I retrieved my record collection from a corner of my bedroom where they stood neglected for many years. Sorting through the albums filled me with feelings of nostalgia. I decided to give them a new life. Each record was prepped with modeling paste to form patterns and texture on each side. Shattered glass, dehydrated vegetables, jewelry, and found objects are often embedded into the surface. Some disks are reminiscent of ancient artifacts while others suggest connections to the song tracks buried beneath. Perhaps, one will resonate with you.
